It all started two years ago. Megan and Amy decided to start experimenting with making cupcakes. We work at a television station that was going through some big changes and rough times so cupcakes seemed the best choice...they always make people happy, right? At the time we both had Mondays off, so we would end up practicing recipes on Mondays and bringing them in on Tuesdays. At first everyone kept saying, "Why are there cupcakes today?" To which our response would be "Because it's Tuesday." After a while, one of our co-workers came up to us on a particularly bad Thursday and said "Is it Tuesday yet?" And that's when we decided to call our blog Cupcake Tuesday.
